A TF2 OC, 'cause they need more women and chainsaws.
"The General" as well as being an army rank is a play on words for the generalisation of people in the army in the 1960's (when woman were just coming into "men's" roles), and naturally I made them the exact opposite of that: a high ranking clinically insane army woman wielding a chainsaw.
To keep in with the name meaning something towards their weaponry it could also be a shortened version of "general goods" i.e. The General Goods Professional/girl.
[Her weaponry is improvised and usually stolen]
I'm putting in a wide range of ranking badges which I will explain in a minute. The actual general insignias are the American and British versions on her shoulders and hat. She also has some "corporal" badges on the backs of her boots.
It still needs a lot of work so i'll be updating this regularly, and I'll probably do some other sketches showing a possible secondary weapon as well, though i'm contemplating whether that should a revolver like a continental pinfire or remington 1858, some sort of submachine gun like a tommy gun, or a Pneumatic Nail Gun, either way they would all have a knife welded to the butt of the handle.
Born and raised in England, she joined the British army at a young age under the guise of a man, but was later found out and confronted by a General of whom she killed and took the insignias as trophies.
Feeling betrayed by her country and now wanted for murder, the General fled to America and, with fierce motivation, managed to join their army just as woman's roles were beginning to be equalised.
Sticking to her gender made it more difficult to be recognised, and as a defiant young woman she always questioned her superiors, all too often going against them, but her exceptional skills on the frontline meant her behaviour was often overlooked:
During her time in the field she delved into improvisational weaponry, using any tools that came to hand, her favourite and most used being a chainsaw.

Other than her vocabulary of countless muttered obscenities, the General has a morbid curiosity for how bodies interact her weapons, often commenting on how rough, smooth, and easy the wound was to make. This coincides with her moral compass being more or less destroyed from her time on the field making Mann Co's facilities the only "safe" place for her exploits.
Although being angry towards her own country, she uses her origin as a way to piss Soldier off recounting the U.S. bugle rhyme "there's a soldier in the grass, with a bullet up us a**" with the english change "what colour is his blood?" in place of "take it out, take it out, like a good girl scout"
